RogueScanner 2.6 is a security tool for Windows. It allows you to scan your network actively and determine what devices are connected.

When you run the application for the first time, it will ask you to specify what network adapter it should use for the scanning. Later on, you will see how the scanner starts putting down IP addresses on the list. Each device that it finds will show an IP address, a MAC address, a vendor and a model. There are also three other fields: Score, Class and Feedback. I don't really know what score does, but you will be able to tell whether a device is part of a workstation or a server thanks to the Class field. The last field is Feedback, which takes you to a pop-up screen with information about the device. There, you can tell the developers if they got the classification right, so that other users can benefit from your input. This is, after all, an open-source project, and help is wanted all the time. As such, you can either run an installation file or compile the application from scratch.
